AREWA MEDIA PRACTITIONERS

The Provost Zamfara State College Of Education Maru, Dr. Ibrahim Usman Gusau, will on Saturday, 13th August 2022, honour with the award for “Icon Of Hope”.

The award presentation ceremony will take place at Murtala Mohammed Library Kano state.

Eminent Nigerians are expected at the prestigious 2022 Arewa Media Practitioners Personality of the Year Awards which scheduled to holds on 13th August 2022, at Murtala Mohammed Library, Kano.

This year marks the 7th edition of the award which is tagged

“Celebrating a Decade of Excellence”.

Media Practitioners and also the acting President of West Africa Political Writers Association, Comrade Musa Mohammed said that the Provost is a worthy recipient of the award “because for his key role in services in the Education sector.

“We recognized Dr. Ibrahim Gusau’s hard work, outstanding performance over the years and his immense contributions to the country and national development”.

The President stressed that the recipient was carefully chosen from a poll the associations conducted that covered more than 5,000 respondents. “Asides that, we decided that we will identify people that are instituting fiscal reforms in their organization, as regards transparency, accountability and probity”.

And the award selection committee which consists prominent and interlectuals, their findings revealed Dr. Gusaus prudent management of public resources, accountability, transparency and good Administration, that’s why they considered him”, he added.
